Gooood morning! Every 6 months since starting Smooth, Josh and I put on what we call Smoothapalooza, a presentation we give to the company where we reflect on the past half of the year, evaluate how we did, and share our vision for the future.

We held our ninth edition of Smoothapalooza last week (we're getting old 👵🏼), and while we're fortunate to have a lot of charts going up and to the right, we try to remind ourselves that the point of this exercise isn't just to pat ourselves on the back. We believe the most value comes from calling out what went wrong, what we learned from it, and what we're going to do differently. We go department by department and outline what 1) what rocked, 2) what straight up didn't rock, and 3) where we're just not satisfied yet.

Since we don't have investors, this is the closest we get to a board presentation and keeps us honest and open with the team that's working hard each day to grow Smooth into its next phase. Hit reply if you'd like to see it :)
