Gooood morning! Very excited to finally unveil our fresh new brand.
I made our original brand in 2021 in about 30 minutes, and it showed 🙃 We always knew a real rebrand was coming, we just wanted to earn it first. Build our creator partnerships, build the team, do the work. Late last year, it felt like time.
A lot has changed since 2021. We narrowed our focus to knowledge creators specifically. The caliber of creators and brands we’re working with is on another level, and we wanted the new Smooth to reflect all of that.
I wrote more about the why and the thought process behind it all here.
Let us know what you think!

The latest from the creators we rep here at Smooth
Cat G. (aka @AskCatGPT) announced the launch of her product studio, Cat Labs. In an actual warehouse, she’ll be turning to her audience to decide what gets built and do it all in real time, on camera.
Courtney Johnson joined an Inc. panel at SXSW to share her experience as a creator, focusing on the importance of owning your audience to succeed in the future of both media and commerce.
Dynamo (led by Nicholas Carlson) launched a new show, Badass Businesses, all about the toughest jobs and the businesses behind them. In the premiere episode, they explore the dangerous world of wind turbines and go on the ground at a site in upstate New York to see how repair crews keep these machines running, and how companies make money doing it.
Matt Wolfe released new branding (its clearly rebrand szn) and interface for his AI news and tools resource, Future Tools.
Your Average Tech Bro passed 200k subscribers on YouTube! Huge congrats to Thomas who’s been publishing thoughtful tech breakdowns for over a decade.
Some of the fun creator-brand partnerships we've been working on
Breaking & Entering x Epidemic Sound | Jack and Geno of Breaking & Entering brought together a legendary group of 120+ advertising and marketing movers and shakers for their signature after hours happy hour. There was a Swedish rockband, a beer and shot combo on the menu, and Geno did the worm.
Eugene Healy x Lovable | Building a masterful brand strategy doc is one thing, but making sure it actually gets implemented day to day is another. Eugene shows how he built custom tools to make it real– like an on-brand content checker (run your content through it to confirm it matches your brand guidelines), a brief generator (quickly create briefs for new projects that align with your strategy), and a decision advisor (ask a question, get an answer rooted in your strategy). All built with Lovable.
Varun Rana x Dovetail | In this sketch, Varun plays a pompous PM who thinks the brilliant breakthrough for the company's product roadmap lives in his brain. His team, however, has been using Dovetail, the customer intelligence platform, and well let’s say… it doesn’t end well for his ego.
