Plus: The crossover event of the season
Hi, everyone! I spent the better part of yesterday absolutely ensnared by the drama at Coldplay’s Wednesday concert in Boston (a sentence I never thought I’d type). The married CEO of a $1B software dev firm was caught on Chris Martin’s kiss cam with…his Chief People Officer. Cheating isn’t funny, but the tweets about this absolutely are. I’ll meet you at the bottom with my three favorites from one of the rare good days on Twitter X.

Knowledge Creators 🤝 Cool Stuff
The latest content + happenings from the creators we rep here at Smooth

Matt Wolfe on The Calum Johnson Show | You know we love a Smooth creator crossover event! Matt and Calum talk about using AI to get rich + the tools you actually need.
The Wall Street Skinny’s Real Estate Private Equity 101 | This conversation with Lauren Hochfelder, Managing Director and Co-CEO of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing, had everything we love about The Wall Street Skinny: Jen and Kristen’s energy, usable advice for young finance professionals, and the perfect mix of macro and micro intel.
Pooja goes full-time | We love when this happens! Pooja shared that she quit her job at Microsoft (ever heard of it?) to go full-time as a tech and computer science creator. We’re cheering you on! 📣
Brand Campaigns Hot Off the Press 🗞️
Some of the fun partnerships our team’s been working on with creators + brands

Dynamo x Framer | The first integration we worked on with the genius team at Dynamo! It’s a standout example of establishing real world use cases for a tool like Framer, and Dynamo CEO and Business Explains the World host Nicholas Carlson absolutely nails the delivery here.
Sandra x Claude | This partnership really leverages what Sandra knows about her audience: They’re the kind of people who might want to develop their own apps, but also might be short on time to do the actual coding…and Claude can help.
Your Average Tech Bro x Globant | Sometimes, it’s tough to make techy tools really stand out from the crowd—but not when you’re YATB. His super quick and effective description of Globant? “It’s like subscribing to an always on AI-powered engineering team.” Simplicity 💯
Thoughts for the Road 🛣️
A little something we’ve been chatting about here at Smooth HQ
Passing it over to our fearless leader, Josh, for this one ➡️
Big news: We’re currently hiring for two major roles on our creator partnerships team—a creator partnerships coordinator and a creator partnerships manager.
To me, the necessity of these hires is a testament to just how important this team has become to the Smooth Media business in the last year. We are meeting so many interesting and talented knowledge creators, and we’re amped to grow the team to both 1) serve more knowledge creators and 2) expand what we can offer as partners.
So what does Smooth’s creator partnerships team do? Short version: Offer hands-on support to help knowledge creators run successful businesses. Slightly less short version:
We provide creators with what we call “white glove service.” We’re there as sounding boards, thought partners, advocates, and admins—when things go right, but also when they don’t.
We help creators grow their teams, from identifying the right time to hire to writing job descriptions to filtering and screening applicants. We feel really strongly about knowledge creators investing in their teams (see: here) and serve as the operators and executors who help them make it happen.
We position knowledge creators the right way with brands. By representing creators’ best interests, we can ensure both creator and brand get what they’re hoping for in any given partnership…on time.
We help creators stay on track as accountability buddies. The creator journey is often an isolating one, and our creator partnerships team exists to provide the motivation, spark, and back-and-forth essential to consistency and creativity.
And, as they say in the biz, it’s time to build. Today, we have Ali, Ben, and Isabel making moves on the CP team, but it wasn’t that long ago that yours truly was the only one at Smooth managing people.
We’ve always envisioned several managers, each with a specialty and plenty of time to devote to their roster. Growing the team means getting closer to that reality—and offering knowledge creators bigger and better services.
These two roles represent key hires for Smooth, so if you or someone you know might be the right fit? Do us a solid and head for the Smooth careers page. ✌️
